Free Consultations: Please feel free to call or email me to schedule your free consultation. At this meeting, we can discuss concerns you have for your child and determine if further evaluations and/or services are warranted. Also, if your child already has an IEP through preschool or the school district, we can go over this as well to determine services.
Evaluations: A thorough speech and language evaluation will be completed if determined necessary. Current areas evaluated are fluency (stuttering), articulation (speech sounds), expressive/receptive language, and apraxia (impaired speech through motor planning). The evaluation results will be shared with the parents/guardians at a separate meeting. The evaluation process can vary depending on the evaluation(s) needed from 45 min to 90 min.
Treatment Plan: After the appropriate evaluation, a treatment plan will be developed to address areas of need. The plan will include treatment times, goals, and recommendations for treatment. The plan will be reviewed with the parents/guardians at a meeting following the evaluation.
Therapy: Once a treatment plan has been determined for your child, therapy will be begin. Therapy can range from 1-3 times a week in frequency and 15-45 min sessions. The frequency and duration of the therapy time will depend on treatment needs of your child.
